Benjamin's Christening

We are bless with the two most wonderful grandchildren. Benjamin is our newest blessing, he is just 4 months old and just the sweetest thing.

This past Sunday we were invited to attend his baptism. He was the only baby being baptized during this service so the priest focused on him throughout the entire mass which was very special. He was SO Good. All smiles and giggles, not one whimper the entire time, even when the holy water was poured on his head. He takes everything in stride, I hope this is one attribute he carries with himself always as it will serve him well.

We love you Benjamin! Thanks for choosing us as your Nanny and Grandpa :)

Christmas 2018

When you suggest to your husband that Christmas time is a great time to have full knee replacement please let me tell you to rethink that idea.

Guy's surgery went so well but it certainly did add a layer of stress that we otherwise did not need on top of the health issues mom has been experiencing. All this aside though we did manage to pull off the most wonderful holiday season. We were blessed to see all the kids at one point, although my goal is still to have them all here for one big holiday celebration one day :).

Avery and Ben added a level of fun and magic to the day that we hadn't experienced before. Cannot wait I until the both experienced the magic and fun together.

We hope your family had as as magical a holiday season and best wishes for 2019.

Disney on Ice

We had such a great time this past weekend taking Avery to her first Disney show. Once we explained that we weren't going to Disney World (how does she even know what that is?), and once she understood we weren't at a baseball game (Nutsy the Squirrel had posters everywhere, learn about Nutsy on this blog post), she and we had a fantastic time.

Pretty sure we will be singing Let it Go for days :)
